Meet the Photographer
As a Manitoba-based Métis photographer, I’m passionate about preserving stories and precious moments through family and wedding photography. I love capturing the authentic connections that make each family unique—the love, joy, and shared moments that tell a story all their own. My sessions are thoughtfully designed to create timeless images that families can cherish for generations.
Beyond my work with families and weddings, I find inspiration in Canada’s breathtaking landscapes. From the dramatic prairie skies to the magnificent mountains of British Columbia and the rugged coastline of Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, I strive to showcase the beauty of our natural world. Through my photography, I blend artistry with storytelling, inviting you to see the extraordinary in everyday moments and the vast beauty of the world around us.
Starting at a young age
From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by the art of photography. As a child, I would take my camera everywhere and capture anything that caught my eye. In high school, I landed a part-time job working with a sports and event photographer, which allowed me to gain valuable experience in portrait and event photography. It was during this time that I also honed my skills in digital photo editing and learned about the inner workings of the industry.
Love for the outdoors
However, it wasn’t just photography that I was passionate about. I’ve always had a love for the outdoors, spending my free time hiking, canoeing, and exploring Eastern Manitoba. I also enjoy cycling and walking in Winnipeg’s beautiful green spaces. It was only natural for me to combine my two passions – photography and the great outdoors.
I’ve traveled far and wide to capture some of the most stunning landscapes that Canada has to offer. From hiking to remote waterfalls with my camera bag and tripod in hand, to canoeing down backcountry rivers, or even traveling by snowmobile to remote lakes in the winter, I’ve gone to great lengths to capture the beauty of the Canadian landscape.
